When you bring your Mac to our Hyde Park workshop, we assess it using professional board-level diagnostic equipment. We identify the specific fault and provide you with a written fixed-price quote. The quote includes the exact fault, the component or parts required, the total cost including labour, and a realistic turnaround time.
At that point, you have a choice. You approve the quote and we proceed — the R899 ex VAT assessment fee is absorbed into the repair cost, so you pay the quoted repair price and nothing more. Or you decline the quote — in which case the R899 ex VAT assessment fee is payable for the diagnostic work completed, and we return your Mac exactly as received.
