Bottom Case Removal & Battery Extraction
Five pentalobe screws secure the bottom case on M1 14/16-inch models; the 13-inch uses six. We disconnect the battery connector, release the adhesive pull-tabs with controlled heat (max 50°C) and adhesive solvent. On swollen cells, controlled depressurisation is used before extraction. Non-conductive plastic tools only near the battery pouch.
