Digital Crown faults appear as a stuck or mushy crown that does not scroll or click correctly. Sand, fine dust, and sweat ingress are the usual causes. A Note on Apple Watch Ultra

We repair Ultra batteries and screens, and the investment in repair is significant given the retail price of R18,000 to R22,000 for a new Ultra. Our repair pricing for the Ultra is higher than the Series models due to the precision required and the component costs, but substantially below the cost of replacement.

Will my Apple Watch retain water resistance after a battery replacement?
We re-seal the Watch using adhesive rated to the same specification as the original seal. After reassembly we perform a pressure test to verify the seal integrity. We cannot guarantee the original IP6X rating to the manufacturer's specification, but our sealing process restores functional water resistance for everyday use including handwashing and rain. We advise against swimming or submersion immediately after a repair.
My Apple Watch screen is cracked but still works. Should I repair it immediately?
Yes. A cracked outer screen allows moisture and dust to reach the OLED panel and internal components. Johannesburg humidity in summer will accelerate corrosion once the seal is broken. A screen that works today may fail quickly once moisture reaches the display driver.
Can you repair an Apple Watch that Apple said is out of warranty?
Yes. Our repairs are independent of Apple warranty status. Many of the Apple Watch models we repair are three to five years old and long out of warranty.
